Me Ruodossa rakastamme kalastusta yli kaiken ja sitä kautta myös lähivesiemme kalakantoja. Kalakantojen tila on monessa vesistössämme huonolla tasolla, vaikka potentiaalia Suomen vesissä olisi yllin kyllin. Ruoto on päättänyt kantaa oman kortensa kekoon tulevaisuuden parempien kalavesien toivossa.

One percent for the fish on symbolinen nimi projektillemme jossa lahjoitamme osan liikevaihdostamme kalojen suojeluun sekä kalastuskohteiden että myös kestävän kalastuksen kehittämiseen. Emmekä pelkästään lahjoita kukkaromme pohjalta X-summaa euroja, vaan annamme eri yhteistyötahoille myös työvoimaa hankkeisiin sekä näkyvyyttä heidän projekteilleen.

Järjestämme nuorille kalastuskursseja veloituksetta kestävän kalastuksen kehittämiseksi sekä kutsumme aina silloin tällöin asiakkaitamme kalareissuille mukaan. Erityisesti kalastuksesta innostuneita henkilöitä, joilla ei muuten olisi mahdollisuutta tasokkaaseen kalastukseen. Toisinaan autamme myös kalastuksen valvojia laittoman kalastuksen kitkemiseksi. Olemme mukana täydellä sydämmellä, liity myös sinä parantamaan tulevaisuutta ja osta kalakamasi kalamiehiltä!

Yhteistyötä tulemme tekemään monen eri tahon kanssa. Hankkeistamme tietoa päivitämme aina blogiimme ja alla olevan linkin kautta pystyt tarkastamaan kaikki tähän mennessä tekemämme projektit hankkeemme piikkiin.

In Ruoto we love fishing more than anything and as a part of that the local fisheries are very dear to us. In a big portion of our waters the fish are in a really poor situation even though there would be a huge potential. Ruoto has chosen to kick in for a better future.

One Percent For The Fish is a symbolic name to our project where we donate a part of our turnover to the protection of fish and developement of fishing destination and sustainable fishing.  And we are not only donating some amount of money from our wallet, we take part and give publicity to our partners projects. For example these could be river restoration projects and removing obstacles out of the way of migratory fish.

We arrange FREE fishing classes to the youth to promote sustainable fishing and every now and then we invite our customers to come fish with us in various destinations. Epecially enthusiastic fishermen who otherwise wouldn’t have the opportunity to high quality fishing. At times we help the local fishery administrators in rooting out illegal fishing. We are in it with our whole hearts. Come join us improve the fisheries of the future, buy your fishing gear from fishermen!
